We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their accounting skills in a focused and meticulous setting. The role involves handling various financial tasks and ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes.

Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable transactions with precision and timeliness.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data.
• Handle accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment tracking.
• Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.
• Maintain organized and accessible documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required.• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank and account reconciliations.
• Ability to accurately prepare and post accounting entries.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
