Associate Attorney

• Title: Associate Attorney (we also have Sr Associate roles open as well comp typically ranges ~$160-190k base DOE)
• Base: $120-160k depending on experience + strong quarterly bonus opportunities
• Location: Los Angeles, CA - WFH Hybrid/Remote flexible (must reside within commutable distance to the LA office for critical meetings)
• PTO: Unlimited
• Roles are remote / work from home flexible

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of civil litigation cases with a focus on insurance defense
• Draft, analyze, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
• Advocate for clients in court proceedings, settlement negotiations, mediations, and trials
• Counsel clients on legal exposure, potential liabilities, and strategic risk management

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the California State Bar
• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation insurance defense
• Demonstrated success handling all phases of litigation, including trials, depositions, and court hearings
• Experience with Medical Malpractice / Healthcare defense
  • Also open to candidates with specialized experience in any of the following areas: 
    • General Liability; Personal Injury; Slip and Fall; Dog Bite; Premises Liability; Product Liability; Professional Liability; Business Lit ; Commercial Litigation; Auto Liability (Auto vs. Auto); Labor & Employment; Construction Defect

• Base Salary is flexible, general range is $120-160k base Depending on Experience (or more)
