Salary: $25.00 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $1500.00

JOB SUMMARY
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and pickup of containers from customer locations. Your goal is to execute safe and timely transportation while fostering positive relationships with clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a unique lift mechanism to transport containers.
• Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift equipment.
• Adapt to additional delivery requests to fulfill business needs.
• Utilize a company-provided handheld device for navigation and delivery confirmation.
• Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as necessary.
• Clean and inspect containers to ensure readiness for customer delivery.
• Manage rental documentation and payment processes with customers.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding customer inquiries or issues.
• Carry out repairs on containers and lifts both on-site and at the storage center.
• Provide assistance at the storage center as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab.

Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports typically to Management, specifically to titles such as Market Manager or Territory Manager.
• This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities for other employees.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL Class B License with no air brake restriction.
• Current/valid driver’s license required.
• Must meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
• Minimum age of 21 years (insurance requirement).
• Possession of a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or ability to secure a certification valid for one year (DOT requirement).
• Experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.
• Basic math skills to perform necessary duties.
• Ability to participate in a required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
