Forest Park Hospice is seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Chaplain to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff in the Portland Metro area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

About the Role:
As a Chaplain, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff. You will be responsible for providing pastoral care, grief counseling, and psychotherapy to those in need. Your role will also involve developing and implementing programs that promote patient rights and well-being. Ultimately, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support during their time with us.

As a Chaplain, you will utilize your skills in stewardship, grief counseling, pastoral counseling, and psychotherapy on a daily basis. You will also need to make independent decisions and work autonomously, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role, as you will be providing emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff. Additionally, experience in program development and management, patient advocacy and rights, and psychotherapy will be beneficial in this role.
