About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to join their team. This transformative nursing leadership role is pivotal in redefining the meaning of a fulfilling career within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a patient-focused, team-oriented culture that delivers superior service and outstanding outcomes. This includes developing and implementing patient care programs, policies, and procedures, as well as acting as a representative for nursing on various committees. The Chief Nursing Officer will also be instrumental in supporting cultural diversity, maintaining an inclusive work environment, and ensuring that the hospital meets and exceeds its goals. Applicants for the Chief Nursing Officer position at the company should possess a current RN licensure, hold BLS certification (ACLS preferred), and commit to obtaining CRRN certification within a year. A Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is required, with an advanced degree or the knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting, with a minimum of two years of recent nursing management experience. Responsibilities for this role include 24-hour accountability, FTE management, policy, procedure, and budgetary oversight, as well as the ability to make informed decisions that optimize health and prevent patient complications. The Chief Nursing Officer will also be expected to celebrate the achievements of their staff and patients and to work in alignment with the company's values of empathy, integrity, and a positive, united approach to care.
