About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Transformation Officer to join its executive leadership team. This mission-centric leader will work in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer to provide oversight of daily operations and the organization's strategic plan. The role involves promoting and sustaining relationships with key governmental staff and community partners, representing the organization in the early learning community, and leading efforts to ensure equitable access to quality learning experiences for all children. The Chief Transformation Officer will also be responsible for system-wide diversification, supervising program directors, and contributing to the development of a comprehensive fundraising strategy. Candidates for the Chief Transformation Officer position should have at least 10 years' of leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in the nonprofit, early learning, education, or government sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, budget development, and fiscal management, as well as experience in mentoring and coaching team members. Skills and competencies required include the ability to lead diverse teams, superior active listening skills, and a collaborative approach to creating and implementing process improvements. Experience in government funding and policy environments, as well as a strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising and philanthropy, is also preferred. The successful candidate will be deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will champion the organization's values and culture.
