Salary: $49,920 - 52,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the desktop environment. You should possess advanced knowledge and understanding of Windows desktop operating systems, as well as the ability to perform complex troubleshooting and analysis of PC hardware, operating systems, and office automation software. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (versions 2007 and 2010) and intermediate knowledge of the Windows Server Operating System is also required. You should have familiarity with LAN environments, communication protocols, PC-to-Mainframe access, and LAN-based email systems (e.g., Outlook, MS Exchange). Your creativity and advanced problem-solving skills are crucial for developing effective solutions to complex issues. We value positive cross-team partnerships, so the ability to encourage collaboration among teams is essential. Experience in audio-video setup, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of printer maintenance are advantageous.

• As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will provide complex technical support for end users, including desktop, software, hardware installation, and remote access technologies. You will analyze, diagnose, install, and resolve issues related to desktop computers, operating systems, application software, and hardware technologies. This role requires you to coordinate and plan network cable management processes and provide input to the Desktop Services team for service delivery. You will work independently on desktop solutions that fulfill business unit requirements and serve as a technical liaison with user groups and other IT partners. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding the business impact of support issues, managing desktop technology life cycle processes, and coordinating projects related to desktop environments. Supervision will be minimal, as we value your ability to take the initiative in problem-solving and documentation.

This position is a long-term contract based in Summit, NJ, and requires compliance with drug and background checks. We offer a competitive pay rate of $24 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
