Position Overview

We are looking for an inspiring Executive Director to spearhead our newly formed organization dedicated to enhancing access to mathematics through engaging summer enrichment programs. The ideal candidate will lead our strategic initiatives, advocate for the math summer programs ecosystem, and establish a solid organizational infrastructure. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, ranging from strategic leadership to daily operations, requiring a proactive and adaptable leader who shares our passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide organizational leadership and development.
• Advocate for the organization and build external relations.
• Engage, inspire, and lead volunteers within a collaborative culture.
• Oversee operations and manage the organization’s budget.
• Ensure compliance with non-profit best practices.

As the public representative of our organization, you will engage with a range of stakeholders and help promote our mission. Successful applicants will have experience leading teams or organizations, a track record of meeting strategic goals, and solid budget management skills. Excellent communication abilities and a hands-on approach are crucial. We seek someone who can motivate and coordinate volunteers effectively and has a background in mathematics or experience in math enrichment education.

This full-time remote position offers the opportunity for an immediate start, with a preference for candidates who can participate in our annual conference in the fall.
