IRT Home care, a division of the IRT Group, provides a range of services to people living in their own homes across NSW, QLD and the ACT. We are seeking motivated and dedicated Home Care Employees to join our team for an immediate start!
Our industry is growing rapidly and as a result we currently are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting older Australians living independently. You will be joining a supportive and growing team that is passionate about providing general, personal and clinical care to our customers who remain living independently.
**Your responsibilities include:**
* Personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
* Domestic assistance such as cleaning and household support
* Transportation to appointments, shopping, social outings and other customer tasks
* Regular reporting and communicating customer progress
* Following individual care plans
**To be successful you will have:**
* A Certificate III in Individual Support
* The medications unit of competency (highly desirable)
* A current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
* A current unrestricted drivers licence (regular driving is required)
* A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance (work related approved kilometres are paid fortnightly)
* The availability and flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
