Job description HUSS Brewing Co is opening a BREWPUB in Downtown Phoenix, and we want YOU to join our family! We are a casual, service-driven Restaurant + Brewpub! WHO WE ARE

Huss Brewery is a family-owned, proudly local and independent craft brewery based in Tempe Arizona. Founded and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Jeff and Lean Huss, our beers are available exclusively in Arizona. We also have a communal taproom in Taproom in South Tempe, Uptown Phoenix, and opening the Downtown Phoenix Brewpub at the Phoenix Convention Center. We proudly serve the Huss Family of Beers (Huss, Papago & Arizona Light) as well as great scratch-made food with new and old friends alike!

JOB DESCRIPTION

The back-of-house team is responsible for preparing meals for guests while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Huss cooks must work at a quick pace while working together as a Huss Family to take care of all our guests. Being friendly, hard-working, and having a love of serving others while having FUN at work is a MUST for Huss employees! Key duties and responsibilities shall include: Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations Preparing food includes cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and salads Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations Other duties as needed to ensure efficient delivery of service to customers in a consistent manner Move with speed through your prep list, line setup, and preparing food. High communication to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our guests and our team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Great teamwork skills and attention to detail Positive outlook and ability to maintain composure under pressure Previous kitchen cooking experience preferred (1-2 Years, however, will consider education as equivalent to experience.) Ability to follow directions, and meet standards Requirements Food Handler's Card 2 years recent back of house experience High volume experience preferred Must have a great attitude and strong TEAMWORK!
