Job Summary

The position directs and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, and in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems as necessary.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the maintenance and operations of all utilities at the Beckett Air Facility (electric, gas, compressors and air systems).
• Define work priorities, scheduling repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
• Lead maintenance team and/or contractors including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and work scheduling.
• Set individual goals and objectives and provide constructive and timely performance evaluations for maintenance team.
• Implements/Lead preventive maintenance and risk mitigation programs by reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance reports for prioritization.
• Work with Production/Engineering/QA teams to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve conditions of machines and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations.
• Maintain and improve job specific knowledge of self and maintenance team by attending educational workshops, benchmarking best-practices, etc.
• Experience with typical/common troubleshooting involving Electric, Electronic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical and Controls issues.
• Experience with Injection Mold Machines and Stamping Presses is desired. Qualifications

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment required
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and control system issues
• Knowledge of injection molding machines and stamping presses de
• Previous experience managing and developing maintenance associates required
• High School Diploma or GED

Skills

Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written forms

Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook

Licenses and Certifications

Certified Journeyman (electrical, millwright, etc.) preferred
