Eastern Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant with at least 3 years experience in working direclty with a physician.
The applicant will work out of our Harbour View & Chesapeake locations for a current time period and then work at the Virginia Beach office as well.

The applicant will be a Medical Assistant that has graduated from an accredited program with at least one year of clinical experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct clinical care to patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Conduct basic assessment of patients, including: measuring and recording of vital signs, auscultation of lung sounds, and patient questioning.
• Conduct basic assessment of patients by verifying patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
• Counsels patients by transmitting provider's orders and prescriptions.
• Maintain a clean and productive work area for team and patients.
• Assists with daily department duties of cleaning, restocking, ordering supplies, etc.
• Willingness to learn and work with a team and provide coverage as needed for all providers
• Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Position is a full-time, Monday-Friday job with a full-benefit package offered after 60 days of employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Experience working directly with a provider 2-3 years minimum
• Willingness to work in multiple locations
