What You'll Be Doing: As the Assistant Manager of Production Control, you'll take ownership of critical functions that keep our production engine running:
- Plan & Schedule Production - Develop and manage production schedules that align resources with demand
- Optimize Inventory - Reduce waste and carrying costs through just-in-time (JIT) inventory practices
- Collaborate Across Teams - Work closely with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing to ensure alignment
- Leverage Data for Impact - Use data to drive decisions and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Lead & Inspire - Guide, mentor, and support a skilled team of production control professionals

Responsibilities at a Glance: - Build and maintain detailed production plans
- Apply lean and JIT strategies to inventory management
- Solve scheduling and supply chain challenges proactively
- Drive initiatives that improve productivity and reduce costs
- Track key production metrics and report to leadership
- Develop team skills and promote a culture of accountability and growth
- Manage risks across inventory, supply chain, and production flow
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
What You Bring: Required: - Associate degree in business, logistics, or related field
OR 2+ years of supervisory experience plus 3+ years in production control/scheduling - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/manufacturing systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
