We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual for the role of RF Design Engineering Intern in our San Jose Office, at the heart of Silicon Valley, CA for Summer 2024. You will have the opportunity to work and learn from industry leaders and experts in the mobile handset and IoT ecosystems. You will be directly involved in the architecture, design, development, prototyping and lab-testing of cutting -edge wireless chipsets that go into leading mobile phone manufacturer’s products. This position will enable you the opportunity to work on design, simulation and testing of advanced industry leading power amplifier architectures and wireless front-end modules.
1. Work on advanced power amplifier architectures, to meet industry leading product specifications
2. Simulation and design of HBT power amplifier circuitries at both block level and top level
3. Lab evaluation of prototype parts and correlation with simulated design
4. Analysis of measurement data and planning for subsequent experiments
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
