Job Description

About the Institute:

At the Sanctuary Institute, we help communities and organizations develop inclusive, trauma responsive systems that address adversity through empathy, accountability, and sustainable change. Rooted in the Sanctuary Model, a comprehensive framework for clinical and organizational transformation, the Institute equips organizations to build healthier workforces, strengthen retention, improve outcomes, and cultivate cultures of resilience and collaboration.

Over time, the Institute has expanded beyond full implementation of the Sanctuary Model to offer a diverse array of services, including customized training, strategic consultation, coaching, and resource development that support trauma informed transformation around the world.

We partner with organizations in multiple sectors, including residential treatment centers, juvenile justice programs, schools, hospitals, community agencies, domestic violence and homeless shelters, and state systems. Together, we align values, culture, and practice with trauma informed principles to drive lasting and systemic change.

Today, the Institute stands at an exciting point of growth and innovation, enhancing the Model, expanding its offerings, and engaging our network and new sectors in meaningful and forward-thinking ways.
