As a Security Guard - Armed Post - Retail Site in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for a bustling retail location. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to staff, shoppers, and visitors. Your presence and professionalism will be essential in responding to situations as they arise, while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position requires carrying a firearm and maintaining a strong sense of integrity, reliability, and teamwork, reflecting Allied Universal's values. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors within a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise on the premises.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity within the location.
• Communicate and collaborate with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency services as required by the situation.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification required for positions in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
