As a Security Guard - Armed Residential Site - Part Time in Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a residential community. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to any situations as they arise. This post requires both armed and driving responsibilities, so you will be operating a vehicle throughout the property while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter security-related risks and promote a secure environment for all individuals on the premises.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed in response to incidents at the location.
• Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to foster positive relationships with residents and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
