A K-12 school in Alexandria, VA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support their speech therapy programs for students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting, delivering targeted speech and language intervention under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in providing speech, language, and communication therapy to students.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions in a classroom or small group setting.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records to support ongoing evaluation.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to reinforce communication goals.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).

• Ability to follow treatment plans and work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
