Job Description
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist SLPA to join our team! You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Responsibilities:
• Works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assess and diagnose students’ learning/communication difficulties, plan remediation strategies and periodically evaluate student progress. • Provides individual and small group speech language services to students who require speech, voice or fluency correction, and/or language remediation. • Integrate and align speech language services with the regular education curriculum, to the maximum extent possible. • Communicates student’s progress to appropriate school personnel and parents/guardians. • To increase the child’s awareness of sounds and the differences among them, and to help lay the groundwork for better speech and lip-reading, better hearing response, and better understanding of the environment of children with hearing loss. • Provides an environment to establish and reinforce appropriate student behavior, attitudes, social skills, and self-image. • Provides other services to regular and special education students as needed. • Completes Medi-Cal billing for covered services. • Establishes and maintains a systematic record keeping system to monitor compliance with federal state regulations and district procedures. • Performs other duties as assigned.
