Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading $facility_type$ in Mission Viejo, CA. Key Responsibilities:

\n\n

• Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce optimal echocardiographic images under minimal supervision
• Perform diagnostic evaluation of chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function
• Provide echocardiographic services for neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients
• Conduct adult echocardiograms and stress echoes
• Perform pediatric echocardiograms
• Assist with TEE, TAVR, and Watchman procedures
• Work rotating 8-hour shifts from Sunday through Saturday
• Maintain availability for weekends and holidays
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Participate in echo call requirements 1 day per week
• Complete on-call duties Monday-Friday (1830-0730) and weekends (1630-0800)
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain RDCS-Adult certification
• Maintain RCS certification
• Maintain either ARDMS or CCI certification
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float between facilities within the hospital system and affiliate hospitals as required
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Maintain valid California state licensure
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties

Job Requirements:

\n\n

• Active, unencumbered license in CA
\n\t
• Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
\n\t
• Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
\n\t
• Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
\n

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
\n\t
• Two current clinical references
\n\t
• State-required professional license
\n\t
• Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
\n\t
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
\n\t
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
\n\t
• Must pass background check and drug screening
\n
