• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Assignment\n
• Location: Hickory, NC 28601\n
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (13 beds)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Start Date: November 10, 2025\n
• End Date: February 9, 2026\n
• Shift: 06:45 AM – 5:15 PM, 4x10 hour shifts per week\n
• Call Requirements: 7 days per month (including some weekends)\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:1\n
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (ADN or BSN required)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience\n
• Experience with advanced surgical technology: robotics (DaVinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table preferred\n
• Ability to take scheduled call (7 days/month, including weekends)\n
• Experience with adult and minimal pediatric (outpatient) populations\n
• Travel nurses must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify\n

\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care to surgical patients\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes\n
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical equipment, including robotics and lasers\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Cerner EHR\n
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training\n
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code (scrubs provided via hospital scrub machine)\n
