Title Insurance Underwriter (Remote – Arizona Based)
Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Remote (Must Reside in Arizona)

Overview:
A leading title insurance company is seeking an experienced Title Insurance Underwriter to join our team. This is a remote position , but candidates must live in the state of Arizona . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in title underwriting, excellent judgment, and a strong understanding of both residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, evaluate, and underwrite title insurance commitments and policies for residential and commercial transactions.
• Analyze title searches, surveys, and related documentation to identify potential title issues or risks.
• Provide underwriting guidance to title agents, escrow officers, and internal staff.
• Ensure compliance with company underwriting standards and state/federal regulations.
• Make risk-based underwriting decisions and issue approvals or exceptions as appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with clients, agents, and attorneys to resolve title issues efficiently.
• Stay current on changes in title insurance laws, regulations, and industry practices affecting Arizona.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in title underwriting (Arizona experience strongly preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of Arizona real estate laws, title standards, and title insurance procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Title license in Arizona or eligibility to obtain one.
