About the job

We are seeking a Video Editor for a global talent solutions provider. This contract position will be responsible for applying their creative expertise (ideation, storytelling, storyboarding, and video editing/production) to create visual experiences to be used in both internal and external communications.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work with creative director, managers, other creative team members, and clients to conceptualize, design and produce digital experiences around key communications initiatives
• Drive the ideation and creation of custom motion graphics and videos for both internal and external communication projects and campaigns
• Assist in meaningful visual storytelling
• Execute ad hoc day-to-day creative needs
• Frequently research the latest trends in design and communication
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Strong portfolio which demonstrates ideation, motion graphics, VFX, and video editing skill sets
• Strong storytelling skills: ability to make complicated visual concepts accessible and engaging
• Able to storyboard
• Understanding of graphic design principles
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite including After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere
• Understanding of online communications and technologies
• Ability to understand a creative brief and develop creative that is in line with the project’s goals within the established parameters
• Well-versed in fundamental design principles and innovative design trends
• Able to multi-task and work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented & a highly motivated self-starter
• Outstanding creative approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

Per manager, we are looking for:

• STRONG video editor with someone who can bring the “WOW!” factor with motion design and VFX
• Must have experience creating social media-specific videos (not just a video they created for something else that they posted on social)
• Can be located anywhere in the country. Will be working remotely.
