We have developed proficiency-based training with experienced facilitators. Drivers will receive 10 weeks of training focusing on all backing, close quarter maneuvers, practice doing short and longer runs and get paid while doing so. Gain hands-on experience from the finest instructors in the industry.

• Pay Period: Paid Every Week 
• Weekly Minimum Guarantee During Training: $800
• Weekly Minimum Guarantee After Training: $1800

• Must Be Able To Drive Manual And Automatic

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• 9 months or less of CDL driving experience
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
• Ability to:
• • Follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight
• Perform other duties as assigned
