Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mulesoft Architect with over 10 years of integration experience, including at least 5+ years of hands-on Mulesoft development, architecture, and solution delivery. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of API-led integration solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design
  • Define integration strategies using API-led connectivity .
  • Design end-to-end integration solutions leveraging Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Create detailed technical architecture documents, integration blueprints, and reusable assets.
• Development & Implementation
  • Lead and guide the development of Mulesoft APIs (System, Process, Experience layers).
  • Implement best practices for RAML design , DataWeave transformations, error handling, and performance tuning.
  • Integrate with diverse systems including Salesforce, SAP, AWS, databases, and legacy applications.
• Governance & Standards
  • Enforce Mulesoft coding, security, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Implement API governance policies and manage the API lifecycle in Anypoint Exchange.
• Migration & Modernization
  • Drive migration from legacy integration platforms to Mulesoft.
  • Modernize APIs for cloud-native and microservices-based environments.
• Leadership & Mentoring
  • Lead integration teams, provide technical guidance, and conduct code reviews.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to refine requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Core Mulesoft Expertise
  • 10+ years of integration experience, with 5+ years on Mulesoft Anypoint Platform .
  • Strong proficiency in API design (RAML, OpenAPI), DataWeave, and MUnit testing.
  • Experience with API security, OAuth2, JWT, and policies.
• Cloud & DevOps
  • Experience deploying Mulesoft solutions in CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or AWS .
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Anypoint CLI.
• Integration Patterns
  • Deep knowledge of messaging (JMS, Kafka), REST, SOAP, and batch integrations.
  • Familiarity with ETL, event-driven, and streaming architectures.
• Additional Competencies
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Mulesoft certifications preferred (e.g., Mulesoft Certified Integration Architect, Platform Architect, Developer).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in microservices architecture and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to API monetization and analytics.
• Familiarity with other integration platforms (Dell Boomi, Apigee, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
