Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available within an elementary school setting located in Poteet, TX. The role involves supporting speech-language services for an elementary-aged caseload during the current school year (CSY) under a contract arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapeutic services to students.
• Implement speech-language treatment plans designed to improve communication skills in children.
• Monitor and document student progress accurately and regularly.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication goals.
• Prepare and maintain therapy materials and resources.
• Comply with school policies and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Minimum of one year of experience working with an elementary school caseload.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to follow treatment plans closely and adjust techniques as directed.
• Commitment to supporting childrens speech and language development.

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Poteet, TX.
• Full-time commitment, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
